Before I started working at Furniture Villa, I didn’t really get what the fuss was about Tempur-Pedic mattresses.  All it took was about 10 minutes of laying on one during a training session for me to understand that the fuss is legit. 

I recently had a customer in store trying out mattresses.  The cost of the Tempur put him off right away, so much so that he didn’t even lay on the mattress.  He was instead leaning towards another mattress that we carry, that has a similar feel to the Tempur-Pedic mattress, at a much lower price point.  As per usual, before deciding on a mattress we always encourage our customers to take their time and even make multiple visits to the store before committing.  This customer decided to come back the next day with his partner.  This time, he did lay on the Tempur.  I have never seen someone look so content in a mattress.  He was quick to admit that although the “other” mattress looked similar on paper, there was really no comparison once he laid down on the Tempur.  Tempur-Pedic really does dominate the mattress line up.  Their “Deep, Restful, Life-Changing Sleep” message is no joke.
